This image of NGC7000, the North American Nebula, was taken by Blair MacDonald with his 8” f/4 Meade Schmidt-Newtonian telescope. He used Ektar 1000 print film for his 30 minute exposure. The negative was then converted to a “Kodak Photo-CD” and subsequently image-processed to remove the effects of vignetting.

We need your help!
Elections for next year’s executive council will be held at the Annual Meeting in November. At the time of this writing we have no President or Treasurer for next year! Some shuffling of the other positions is likely, so if you are interested in any position, please let David Lane or Mary Lou Whitehorne. We can tell you what’s expected of any position. The deadline for nominations is the October meeting.
